I am current an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Johns Hopkins University. I earned my PhD in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Johns Hopkins University. Afterward, I worked as a medical physicist faculty in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. I joined the MSK as a medical physicist faculty in May 2016. In Septemper, 2018, I joined Sibley Memory Hospital in Washington DC as a medical physicist staff.
My research interest is in automating radiotherapy inverse planning — using prior planning knowledge in automating new plan generation. I am a co-inventor of a patent associated with a knowledge-based planning system, which was licensed to Varian Medical Systems in 2015.
