Zhengzheng Xu. ABR board certified therapeutic medical physicist at Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and assistant professor of Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California.
He received his Master degree in Medical Physics from Duke University and the doctorate degree in Medical Physics from University at Buffalo. Dr. Xu completed his residency in medical physics at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in 2018. After completing the residency, Dr. Xu became a clinical staff at UH Seidman Cancer Center specializing in medical physics. He was focused and dedicated in image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) for GI cancer and advanced HDR brachytherapy for GYN cancer.
Dr. Xu has presented and published in multiple areas including HDR brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT)/stereotactic radiosurgery(SRS), and FMEA for RadOnc. His research interests include image guided adaptive brachytherapy, SBRT/SRS and small field dosimetry.
