Ben Slotman serves as Professor of Radiation Oncology at Amsterdam UMC, The Netherlands since 1998 and was chairman of the department from 1996 to 2024. He is (co)-author of around 500 peer-reviewed publications. His main areas of expertise include lung cancer and SBRT. He is former president of the American Radium Society, immediate past-president of ESTRO, president of the International Radiation Oncology Societies Network and president of The Radiosurgery Society (RSS).
