Jun Yang PhD, DABR
Medical physicist. Dr. Jun Yang received his PhD in medial physics and medical imaging processing from Bio-medical Engineering, University of Miami in 2006. He has participated the founding Philadelphia Cyberknife in 2006, the first Cyberknife Center in great Philadelphia area. He serves as the chief physicist for Delaware County Hospital and Alliance Oncology (The third largest radiation oncology chain and the largest radiosurgery chain in the states) where he was in charge of the physics, clinical research etc.
As the clinical associate professor at Drexel Univ. and visiting professor at Fudan Unvi, Dr. Yang has published many peer-review paper and books. He servers as editorial board for a few journals. He owes few patents and has collaborated with radiation oncology equipment providers.
Dr. Yang is the member of multiple professional societies. He started to serve as the board member of the Radiosurgery Society and the chair of physics committee since 2012. He starts to serve the board member for AERO. He has participated in writing many professional guidelines, such as the TG 277 AAPM-RSS medical physics practice guideline for SRS-SBRT , TG 135 Cyberknife QA, White paper for RadioSurgery physics etc.
